HabiStat Leaf Litter Mulch

The HabiStat 100g leaf litter mulch is a vacuum-sealed bag full of mixed broken leaves, ideal for covering substrate, feeding microorganisms, and holding valuable microclimates. Adding HabiStat leaf litter to an enclosure provides valuable food and shelter for many of the clean-up crew. They will love to eat these broken-down leaves and feed those vital nutrients into the soil, sustaining plant growth and life. You will find an increase in natural behaviours when adding HabiStat mulch as it will allow animals opportunities to dig and forage as they would expect in the wild. We recommend using this as a top coat over our substrate, then covering it with one of our 5L options. This builds a deeper, more functional layer.
